Hi, I'm Hrithik Kedia 👋
I'm a generalist operator working at the intersection of strategy and execution. Over the last few years, I've worked across startups and businesses, taking on everything from GTM and growth to business development, P&Ls, partnerships, and special projects.
Somehow, I also found time to co-build a community for people doing similarly chaotic jobs.

Strategy is interesting. Execution is where I feel at home.
01 — The generalist advantage
Early in my career, I realised I was less interested in climbing a predefined corporate ladder and more curious about how businesses actually work.
So I chose the messier route.
I've worked in Founder's Office and Business Operations roles where one quarter could mean building GTM strategies and the next could mean evaluating a new market, running a P&L, fixing an internal process, launching a campaign, or working on a partnership.
That's what I love about being a generalist.
You develop context. You learn to connect dots across functions. And most importantly, you learn how to move from “someone should solve this” to “I'll figure this out.”
My favourite job description is usually the one that hasn't been written yet.
02 — The journey
The longest and most significant chapter so far — one that kept changing shape as the business did.
Every few months, a different problem. The mission stayed the same: move the business forward.
Learning how growth happens when strategy meets execution.
My first real Founder's Office experience taught me what operating without a playbook actually means.
The place where I learned that context-switching can be a feature, not a bug.
My first job taught me something important: I wasn't looking for a bigger title or a clearer ladder. I wanted to understand how businesses were actually built.
So I left the predictable path and moved to Bengaluru to join a startup.
03 — Things I've built & owned
From evaluating new markets to owning categories and thinking about unit economics, I enjoy understanding what makes a business work.
The projects with the least clarity are often the most fun.
Community, events, partnerships, marketing and new initiatives — always with an eye on the business outcome.
I enjoy bringing the right people and organisations together to create leverage.
Behind every exciting business is usually an unglamorous process that needs fixing.
My biggest strength is probably context — the ability to see how different parts of a business connect.
04 — Founder's Office Club
While working in Founder's Office roles myself, I kept noticing the same thing: generalists sit at the centre of a business, but they often build in isolation.
There isn't a conventional career path. There isn't always a peer group. Most of the learning happens through trial, error and context-switching.
Generalists spend their careers figuring things out. We didn't think they should have to figure everything out alone.
So a few of us started Founder's Office Club — a place for people across Founder's Office, Chief of Staff, Entrepreneur-in-Residence and Office-of-CxO roles to trade experiences, frameworks, opportunities and honest conversations.

From conversations online to rooms full of operators, some of the best parts of building FOC have happened when people simply get together and start talking.

Learning together
There isn't a textbook for most generalist roles.
So we've tried to learn from the people already figuring it out — operators, founders and leaders sharing the frameworks, mistakes and lessons they wish they knew earlier.
Masterclasses
Learning from people who've been in the room.
In real life
Taking the community beyond the screen.
Conversations
Honest discussions about careers and operating.
Conversations
Operators, founders and builders in one room.
What started as conversations between a few operators has grown into a community of people navigating careers that don't always come with a clear playbook.
05 — My operating philosophy
The answer usually changes when you understand the full picture.
If something important needs doing, the org chart can wait.
Ideas only become valuable when someone is willing to get their hands dirty.
The most meaningful work compounds when it helps other people grow too.

07 — Let's talk
If you're building something interesting, figuring something messy out, or just want to talk careers, chaos and clarity — let's chat.
